Extend the Life of Your iPhone Battery Now With These Simple Tips

Phone Lock

Lock your phone when you are not using it. Press and hold the sleep wake button on the edge of the phone to enter a lock mode. In general settings you can automatically adjust your phone to lock within 1 to 3 minutes if there’s no activity

WiFi

Turn off Wifi and 3G unless you need to browse the internet. You can switch off Wifi under the general settings and 3G under the network tab. You can switch both off when you don’t need them. When it’s time to browse, choose one or the other, you don’t need them both on at the same time.

Software Update

Keep your iPhone up to date. Software upgrades keep your phone performing at the highest level thereby extending your iPhone battery life.

GPS

Limit GPS interactive maps and tracking. You can turn this off by going to general settings and turning location services off. Use mapping apps only when you need it.
